It seems I have been taking portraits for longer than I realised. Probably since I was around 13 when I got my first camera as a birthday gift.

Shot on film with a Hasselblad 500C
It's not often I see someone with using an old Hasselblad film camera like mine so when I spotted Luis with his 503CX I had to go and say hello.I do like the black painted bodies of some of the Hasselblad cameras. It doesn't make any difference to the pictures they take but like the little black dress there is something so classic about them. The aluminium body of mine has a more vintage feel.We chatted for a bit about our cameras and the delight of home processing films while all around us the noises of people and their cars at the London to Brighton Vintage car rally went on.

Is someone I've bumped into a few times now. He has a real passion for his old Speed Graphic camera which you see in this photograph. It's fitted with a roll film adapter. It would normally use single sheets of film in holders that slide onto the back of the camera.This time he was experimenting with tilt and shift which gives that minature railway look to everything. It generated quite a bit of interest from passers by. One chap photographed Luigi with his camera to go in a London newspaper.

A few weeks ago in Trafalgar Sq. They were so engrossed in each other I was able to take photos with two cameras and they didn't pause. Out with hate and in with LOVE
